Program Description:
Individuals successfully
served by Y.A.H.S.S. have often received specialty residential and counseling
services during their childhood and youth. Most young adults desire to live
on their own as other adults and desire help in meeting needs in social skills,
employment, and education. The individuals served receive the level of support
that best fits their needs and will encourage their continued movement towards
independence.

- 24 Hour Staff Availability for Support
- Assertiveness / Self Advocacy Training
- Community Integration / Resources
- Daily Living Skills Strengthening

- Family and Peer Support
- Rehabilitation Counseling
- Skill Development Services
- Socialization
- Substance Abuse Services
- Management of Problem Behaviors
- Manage of Symptoms of Illness
- Psychiatric Services Available...
Access to Services:
Anyone who is 18-28 years of age
who is or has been served by publically funded Child or Adult provider of
Mental Health Services and continues to need the services offered by Y.A.H.S.S.
