The Training Center at Motivational Services provides training for the health and human service community, including MHRT 1 certification.

Other offerings include:

* Medication Administration (3 hr)

* Mental Health Support Specialist (MHSS)

The Training Center (TC) at Motivational Services is located at 71 Hospital Street in Augusta. Classes are also available in Windham or our instructors will travel to your location in Southern or Central Maine.

 Our commitment to meeting your training needs does not stop in the classroom. Our experienced administrative staff and instructors are available to assist you in meeting licensing requirements and increasing service quality.

Requirements for Trainings:

1. Must successfully complete all course requirements.

2. Pre-registration is required.

Registrations must be made by calling the training center at 207-623-7721 or faxing a registration form to us at 207-623-3130.

Cancellation Policy:

Cost of the trainings is non-refundable unless we are given a two working day notice for cancellations. You may cancel by calling 623-7721 or emailing The Training Center

Weapons Policy:

It is the policy of Motivational Services, Inc. to provide a safe and secure environment for its employees, clients and guests. For this reason, the possession of firearms or other dangerous weapons* is strictly prohibited on our premises.

Since 1976, Motivational Services has assisted adults recovering from significant mental illness living in the cities and towns of Kennebec County in Central Maine.

We help people meet their basic need for improving the quality of their lives by providing opportunities for safe and affordable housing, employment, case management, recreation, and socialization services.

We offer interest-free loans, rental subsidies, and payeeships to people in need of financial assistance to cope with the stress of their illness.

Motivational Services is a not-for-profit corporation which conforms to the rules and regulations of the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3).
