Augusta Supported Living
Augusta Supported Living (ASL) provides supported/assisted living to help persons who have demonstrated basic living skills achieve increased independence. ASL serves individuals with an identified interest in the supportive environment our program offers. Emphasis is placed on personal self-care management and decision-making in the areas of environment, activities, needs, and goals. Augusta Supported Living provides psychosocial and person-centered supports that emphasize self-management Of One's life.

Arsenal Heights
6 and 10 Arsenal Heights are side-by-side programs located on the Riverview Psychiatric Center campus. They provide assisted living supports to people with severe and persistent mental illness who are capable of moving from the hospital into a community setting. Of the ten beds in these facilities, four are designated for individuals who also have histories of substance abuse.

A 24-hour support team uses a consumer-driven model with individualized plans to help residents increase their independence and improve their quality of life. Establishing the “just-right-challenge” for these individuals so they can develop skills, but not be overwhelmed by the process, is a challenge Motivational Services has met successfully for over 25 years. The team at each program is working to continue that tradition.

East Side Supported Living
East Side Supported Living provides adults with severe and persistent mental illness the opportunity to live in an apartment in the Augusta area along with the rehabilitative services and social supports they need. The goal of the program is to strengthen a person’s skills needed to meet the demands of daily living in the community. We work with each person through a process that helps that individual determine his or her own goals for successful community living and develop plan to achieve them.
