Our Philosophy:

Our commitment is to people with developmental disabilities and is to assure that we provide services and supports that are individualized to meet each persons needs. We encourage each person's right to independence, choice, and decision making, while at the same time providing a safe and secure environment.

Overall Goal:

Our overall goal is to provide services to people we support in a manner that supports and enables individuals to maximize abilities to function at the highest level of independence possible.

Our Current Programs:

• We support people in their own apartments in Waterville with 24 hour staff supports.
  
  
• We support people who live their own homes in Waterville with 24 hour staff supports.
  
  
• We support others who live their own apartments in Waterville with individualized staffing support as needed.
  
  
• We provide assistance with work and day programming for several people through individualized services.
  
  

Our Criteria:

• 18 years or older
  
• Able to evacuate in two minutes or less without the physical assistance of another person
  
• With a diagnosis of mental retardation (generally in the mild/moderate range) and mental illness
  
• Working towards more independence in areas such as:
  
  
  • Where they live
    
  • What they do for work/day program
    
  • Community/Social interactions
    
  • What they do with their leisure time
    
  • How they cope with stress
  • Daily Living Skills
